Work

Juggling two projects at SEB right now. One is deep in ideation and prototyping, the other in research and synthesis. Busier than usual, but the kind of busy that feels productive.

Reading

Started A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles last week. Before that finished Estonian Lessons by Allen Ross, a good and easy read while living here. The book reminded me I had never actually seen the boulder at Viimsi Selver, so I went there right after finishing the book.

Travel

Quick trip to Hiiumaa recently, always a good reset. Two weeks off in September, heading to Turkey to visit family and have some late summer vacation.

Thinking about

Still following the AI in design space closely. Attended the second AI and designers meetup in August, interesting to see how much energy is going into building rather than discussing. Also been writing a bit more on the blog, using AI for proofreading and editing along the way. Finding that the writing process still feels like mine even with that help.
